Fill the peppers
Spoon the mixture evenly into each jalapeño half.
Bread the poppers
Set up three bowls:
Flour
Egg + milk (whisked)
Breadcrumbs
Dip each filled jalapeño into flour, then egg, then breadcrumbs.
Bake
Place poppers on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
Bake for 18–22 minutes, until golden and crispy.
Finish & serve
Drizzle lightly with honey if desired.
Garnish with herbs and serve warm.
