Blueberry Brie Jalapeño Poppers

Ingredients

  • 10–12 fresh jalapeños

  • 6–8 oz brie cheese (rind removed), cut into small cubes

  • ½ cup blueberry preserves or jam

  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper

  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder (optional)

For the coating

  • ½ cup all-purpose flour

  • 1 large egg

  • 1 tablespoon milk

  • ¾ cup panko breadcrumbs (or regular breadcrumbs)

Optional toppings

  • Honey drizzle

  • Fresh thyme or chopped chives


Instructions

  1. Prep the jalapeños

    • Preheat oven to 400°F (205°C).

    • Slice jalapeños in half lengthwise.

    • Remove seeds and membranes (use gloves if you want less heat).
